Delray Beach Open 2025

There’s something special about watching live tennis, and the Delray Beach Open 2025 delivered an unforgettable experience. Located in the heart of South Florida, this ATP event is known for its intimate setting, and relaxed yet energetic atmosphere.

We decided to the see the evening session of the semi-final matches on Saturday evening. We tried to enter a few hours prior to the first match but were told it was too early. So we walked around the main strip near the stadium and had a wonderful dinner at Vic &Angelo’s Restaurant.

Once we entered the stadium, you could feel the buzz of excitement and the day was nice and cool with a light wind. The Delray Beach Open is an open-air venue that has a laid-back yet chic vibe. Around the stadium, we walked around to check out the variety of refreshments and food options. They offered a delicious looking burrito bowls, açaí bowls, and the standard stadium fare. After grabbing a pretzel and checking out the tournament merchandise, we made our way to the court to our watch our first professional match.

First Up: Kecmanovic/Navashima v. Cash/Tracy tennis match

Doubles matches are always a thrill, and today’s match was no exception. With lightning-fast reflexes at the net and incredible teamwork, both pairs put on a spectacular display of skill. Watching the quick volleys and strategic shot placement up close was a reminder of just how different doubles strategy is compared to singles. It truly is underrated and the atmosphere was electric. Though Cash and Tracy have career rank high of 1026 and 668, respectively, they played even better than you’d expect during the match. After at tough match, Kecmanovic and Navashima won 4-6, 6-3, 10-2.

After the match, we waited to see if we could meet any of the doubles players after the match. We were lucky to meet Navashima who posed with my son and signed a tennis ball for him. It was the highlight of his night, of course!

A Break Between Matches

One of the best things about the Delray Beach Open is how easy it is to explore the grounds. During the break, we wandered through the fan zone where my husband Ryan test his serve speed for $5 that went toward a youth tennis charity. We checked out some fun sponsor booths, and watched Davidovich warming up.

The Singles Showdown: Davidovich v. Arnaldi

As the afternoon heat settled in, it was time for the much-anticipated singles match. The contrast between the high-speed doubles match and the mental chess game of singles was fascinating to watch. Every point was thrilling with long baseline rallies and powerful serves.
