Tous les Jours is a french-fusion bakery in downtown New Haven that I had never heard of before. It is a popular bakery chain that originates from South Korea. We went to the bakery on a Thursday evening around 6pm and it was busy despite it being close to closing time. The aroma of the bakery as soon as you step in is intoxicating.
Tous Les Jours was cozy with welcoming staff and an array of seating. When you walk in, you grab a pair of tongs to choose your pastries. There are a mix of both traditional French pastries as well as more unique Korean items such as red bean buns and matcha pastries.
They are well known for their cakes, specifically their “cloud cakes” which were beautifully decorated in a variety of flavors. The flavors range from traditional vanilla to unique taro or green tea. My friends and I ordered cappuccinos and several pastries including a piece of cloud cake and a strawberry croissant. They were all absolutely amazing. Each of them was light and fluffy. I thought that the items were priced higher than a typically bakery but the quality made it well worth it.
Overall, I found the bakery to be a fantastic find. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the pastries and coffee were delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I will definitely be coming back again even if its just for a quick coffee, afternoon treat or to pick up a cake for a party.

All the best,
Alexis
